Since the last post seemed to be popular, here's another.
Imagine a room that has no windows and a single door. You put a standard refrigerator in this room, plug it in, and leave the fridge door open. You leave the room and shut the door to the room, sealing the fridge inside. Will the room get warmer or colder?
UPDATE: The fridge is empty. No dry ice. Everything was room temperature to begin with.

No windows, a single door. This sounds like my bedroom. Give me a few days and I'll find the answer.
Seems that I have heard this one before though and I remember hearing that it would generate more heat than cool air due to it being an electrical appliance.
Whoops, forgot to post an answer here. Yea, the room will get warmer. The inner workings of a refrigerator are basically the same as an air conditioner or a heat pump. They just move heat from one place to another. The fridge motor just moves heat from inside the fridge to outside the fridge. In this riddle, that heat never leaves the room.
But in doing so, it creates some heat of its own, since it's not a perfectly efficient machine. So the net effect on the room is that the teamperature increases.
