Countertop

Those of you who have visited our house know that we've been in an ongoing renovation of the kitchen. Having painted the cabinets, stripped both layers of wallpaper, and painted the walls, our next step is the countertop. I'm replacing what's there (dingy offwhite laminate) with a dark grey post-formed laminate. That's the kind with the rolled edge and integrated backsplash. I'll be doing this job myself, so it should be interesting. I've got the two countertop pieces now, so it's a matter of putting them in. A buddy of mine who used to install countertop was going to help me this Saturday, but he's had a conflict in plans, so I may be doing this by myself. We'll see how it goes. I'll post some before/after pictures here whenever I finish.
