Public Ed

George Leef of the John Locke Foundation, commenting on public education and the weak vocabularies of students graduating with "good" GPA's from public high schools:
We keep hearing from the education establishment how they're so committed to excellence, but there is evidence all around that schooling is mostly a matter of being rewarded for sitting around.
